Prior to the 9/11 terrorist attacks, did you ever get the chance to visit/work in/go up the WTC towers ?
i was a tourist though. but I wanted to know if my memory served me correctly, and that there was a dining/cafetaria thingy (not far from where there was a souvenier shop for tourists, that sold post cards, hats, tee's, key rings, mugs, fridge magnets ) and if this was somewhere at the top or in the middle or was it down at the bottom ?
Still was an amazing experience even If i only went that one time, the view from the windows down onto the manhattan skyline - breathtaking.
the view from the top using them binoculars was even better too.
so did u visit/work there at any time ?
In the sub basement, was a small amount of retail outlets, I remember, and an open air place where people gathered.
the restaurant you are talking about was very close to the top..then you had to take stairs i think to get to the top. my cousin was visiting from the czech republic and we took her there when i was 16 and i had been to the city plenty of times in my life and the strange thing is i would always go to the empire state building or rockafeller plaza or little italy china town museums shows oh you get the idea...but i feel like if it wasn't for my cousins visit we would have never went there...and i am so glad i did:)
