im just wondering. it seems like people are too caught up in it today.Part of it was christians killing anybody who believed any different, and conquering other countries and forcing religion on everybody.
The first and only time that monophlemic alphabets were developed (ie, where a single character was used for all sounds used) was in the semitic areas. All other monophlemic alphabets (like ours) are a result of that initial language. Of course, monophlemic languages are the easiest to translate into other language (as opposed to heiroglyphics which require a vast knowledge of symbols that most late bronze and early iron age people did not have). Accordingly, documents like the torah and bible translated well throughout the mediteranean, as opposed to say, the Book of the Dead which was in hieroglyphs. Spread by fire and the sword. Because people lacked imagination and creativity.years of conviction, turmoil, strife, and blatant brainwashing. also christians seem to have a bad rep but good sales.read it and see :)It does and always has satisfied (when applied) a universal hunger in many people like no other book that has ever existed.BECAUSE THE BIBLE IS THE WAY OF LIFE.
