My daughter has 2 still somedays 4 hours in total, i keep being told this is to much and she only needs one blah blah blah?? This is coming from woman of the older generation like my mum/mil/grandmother...but my health nurse said its perfectly fine actaully good for especially if she is sleeping through the night most night to....mine has one or two with a total of 3-4 hours per dayMy son slept 2 times a day when he was 12 months each time two hours, and slept at night. They reduce their sleep around 2 yrs. It is good cause they are growing alot at this age.My 1 year old has mostly 2 naps a day...sometimes 3.
If your little one is happy, then don't worry about what anyone says...how is it affecting them how many times a day she has a sleep, lol. She obviously needs her nap time, she'll let you know when she's ready to drop a sleep.
I hope my boy keeps up his day sleeps for as long as possible, lol.my 14 month old has 2 naps during the day like one like at 11am and one at 3pm and goes to be like around 9pm and wakes up at 9am ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh im so glad lol My 13 month old has a nap at mid morning and another in the afternoon. I do believe she is slowly moving towards one nap a day.
Follow YOUR instincts because you are the mom. Nothing wrong with your baby having 2 naps a day.
Mine does and she also sleeps through the night. My 13 month old had (he's 14 months now) 1-2 naps a day. If he woke up at 9 AM, he wouldn't have a morning nap; he would just have 1 afternoon nap for the day. But if he woke up at around 7:30 AM, he'll have 2 naps a day: one in the morning and his usual nap in the afternoon.this is about right. my toddler sleeps between 2 1/2 to 4 hours straight for a nap and has no problem sleeping a night.
babies grow so fast that their bones and muscles need a lot of rest to recoop and regain energy.When mine were that age they slept from 3 - 6pm each day, and then back to bed at 9pm - 9am ish. This fitted our days schedule well and worked best for us.
Charlieghs sleep patterns sound great. If that is what works best for you all then go with it. I wouldnt give a crap what anyone tells you. Do what works and is convenient for you.none i just let the tele mind her#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
