Christians: If someone is born with both male and female parts, should they marry a boy or a girl?

  • Why did God create such people?
    And by all rights, how can they not be gay unless they remain completely abstinent?


  • I've seen this question asked a few days ago, and at that time there were no Christians who gave an answer to it.

  • it depends which one is actice. you cant have both parts active. if they appear to be female, and the female parts work, then they marry a man.

    if they appear more masculine, and the masculine parts are the functioning ones, they marry a woman.

    They are created that way because of sin. After adam was kicked out of the garden the world began to die. As the years go on, more and more birth defects like this will happen. Only reason we dont see so much of it now is because there is so much abortion when people find out they will have a baby like this.

  • See, this is exactly why our society needs to let go of our black-and-white, one-size-fits-all views on sexuality and gender orientation.

    I'm an atheist, but I say that someone in this situation should simply do whatever feels right to them: whatever gender they identify with, they are. Whatever gender they're attracted to, they're attracted to. No sense in complicating the situation by trying to shove a round peg into the square hole of ancient dogma.


  • Such a person is almost always much more like one sex than the other. The usual route is, after medical and emotional counseling, to remove the less developed organs and live as the sex you are most completely developed as.

  • First things first............I do not know why God does everything that He goes. I don't even know where God gives way to nature and human "impurity".......

    It is my understanding, that at such a birth, the parent(s) decide whether to rear the child as a particular sex. Perhaps the parent makes the wrong choice and the "child" later, makes a different one,.

    At some point, it seems, ( as I have never witnessed such a case) a decision must be made.

    It does seem logical to me...that the person of dual genders make a choice that can be lived with. What "choice" they make is not up to my criticism. There ARE some things that I do not know!


  • God our Heavenly Father created perfect bodies. Yet they are subject to physical bounds of earth. They are not gay. I don't exactly know how to explain how I know. I will try to respond with more later.

    Most people on here dont even know what a real intersexed person is. They say stupid crap like if it looks like a girl, then lets force the person to be a girl. Their dna says he is a boy, force him to be a boy. I think that is CRAP. They are INTERSEX, NOT one or the other.


  • people who are born with both parts are a result of a twin that never separated from it's twin and the body dissolved everything except for the private parts. The same happens with babies with 2 faces or 2 heads etc. It is a deformity. It does not make that person gay. To suggest such a thing is just stupid. People need to get their minds off of below the waste and focus on what God wants from us.

  • Most Hermaphrodites have predominant genitals (for example there are some "women" who have a clitoris that becomes erect).
    I'm assuming whichever sex organ is most developed would be their intending sex.
    Sin is the reason why error entered the world however ghastly the consequences are.
    There is just no way to sugar coat it, you can not pick and chose who will or will not suffer the consequences of fallen humanity.
